Clarification on Making the Right Selection for Your Application

Whatever your application, you ideally need the best picture possible.

What is the largest diameter Endoscope that can be used for your application? You really need to use the largest size possible.

What length of Endoscope does your application demand?

Do you need to go around corners? This maybe a deciding factor as to whether use a rigid or flexible.

Direct view or camera? Do you just want to look directly through the Endoscope, couple with a Digital Camera or a CCD camera with a TV screen.

Do you need to record the images?

Cost? What is your budget for your application? This can also have a major factor on your choice of Endoscope.

A couple of things to consider:

Smaller Endoscopes = higher cost.
High quality = higher cost.
Large Diameter = higher resolution image

This is pretty much the same regardless of flexible or rigid Endoscopes.
